Cobden Beach - Come Check it Out!

Writer's picture: Muskrat Watershed CouncilMuskrat Watershed Council

The Muskrat Watershed Council volunteers have recently upgraded the mats and bubblers at Cobden beach to improve swim conditions. We also added protective buoys to keep boaters and fishermen out of the area. Combined with work from Whitewater Township to improve the washrooms, clean the beach and install the swim raft, the beach looks great!

We suggest grabbing a coffee, and maybe a snack from the market, or your favorite bakery and taking a break at the beach. Lots of shady areas if it is hot.

If you are interested in how the mats and bubblers may help your waterfront property check out the information sign at the beach, or even better join us at our Annual General Meeting on July 29th, 10AM at the Cobden Legion.

After the meeting grab a hamburger at the Legion, drive to the end of Main Street and head down to the beach.

BTW, if you end up in Eganville, you went the wrong way; their beach isn't as nice. ;)
